Peppered Cheese Fondue Recipe

Ingredients
4 oz. process Swiss cheese slices, diced
4 oz. process Gruyere cheese, diced
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Dash garlic powder
Dash ground nutmeg
Dash fresh ground pepper
3/4 cup dry white wine
French-bread chunks
Kirsch
Directions
1. In a medium bowl, combine cheese, flour, garlic powder, nutmeg and pepper; toss to mix well.
2. Pour wine into a deep 1-quart casserole. Microwave at 100% (high) 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until bubbles start to appear; do not boil.
3. Stir in half the cheese mixture, mixing well. Microwave at 100% (high) 1 minute or until almost melted. Stir in remaining cheese mixture. Microwave at 100% (high) 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until almost melted. Whisk until smooth.
4. Keep warm while serving. Dip chunks of French bread in kirsch, then in cheese mixture. If mixture becomes too thick, stir in a little more warmed wine
