Cheese Ball Recipe
When I was a child, the first thing I used to grab from the grocer's store was this Cheese Balls. Now, I have this wonerful recipe for Cheese Balls and believe me, it sort of tastes better than I used to get at the store. So, if you too like Cheese Balls, just give this a try!
Ingredients
2 3-oz. packages cream cheese
1 5-oz. jar sharp Cheddar cheese spread
1 5-oz. jar Roquefort cheese spread
1 5-oz. jar Smoky cheese spread
1/2 teaspoon grated onion or onion juice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup undiluted evaporated milk
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Directions
Let the four cheeses stand at room temperature for an hour or so.
Put them in a mixing bowl with the onion and Worcester- shire.
Mix with a fork until smooth and well blended.
Stir in milk, a little at a time, and then cover and chill until firm.
This will take about 4 hours or overnight.
Shape the cheeses into a ball.
Roll in the chopped nuts.
Chill until ready to serve.
Serve on a large platter with a parsley or water cress garnish and crisp crackers or wafers
