Directions

Combine apples, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinna- mon, nutmeg and lemon juice.
Place in deep dish pie pan.
Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar and 2/3 cup flour; cut in butter with 2 knives or pastry blender.
Add cheese, toss lightly; sprinkle mixture over apples.
Bake in hot oven (400°F.) for 45-50 minutes.
Serve with wedges of cheese on top.
