Cheese And Bean Soup Recipe
The cheese and bean soup is a flavorful and savory soup made with smoked cheese or with smoke flavor along with bean soup mix and milk. One of my favorite comfort and filling favorites in soup, this soup is totally vegetarian and delightful when flavored with parsley.
Ingredients
| 1 recipe Choose a Bean Soup Mix | ||
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 6 ounce link cheese food or cheese food with hickory smoke flavor | ||
Directions
Prepare and cook Choose a Bean Soup Mix as directed, except reduce water to 4 cups.
Remove bay leaf.
In the same saucepan mash beans slightly.
Add milk and cheese.
Cook and stir till cheese is melted and soup is heated through.
Ladle into soup bowls.
If de sired, garnish each serving with parsley.
