Cheese Topped Green Beans Recipe
Ingredients
1 pound green beans
1 cup water
1/2 envelope onion soup mix
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Directions
Wash beans; remove ends.
Cut beans in 1 inch pieces.
In medium saucepan combine the beans, water, and onion soup mix.
Bring to boiling; simmer till beans are tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
Drain beans.
Turn into serving dish; stir in butter till melted.
Combine toasted almonds, Parmesan cheese, and paprika; sprinkle over the green beans.
