Cheddar Toasties With Bacon Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 4 | |
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or salad dressing | ||
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Milk | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dash of paprika | ||
| Dash of garlic powder | ||
| 2 English muffins, split and crisply toasted | ||
Directions
Cover bacon with triple thickness paper towels.
Microwave at HIGH (100%) until bacon is evenly browned, 3 to 4 minutes; set aside.
Mix cheese, mayonnaise, onion, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard, paprika and garlic powder.
Spread 2 tablespoons on each muffin half.
Crumble 1 piece of bacon on top of each.
Place muffins around outer edge of turntable, leaving center empty or on double thickness of paper towels on dinner plate.
Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) until cheese melts, 1 to 2 minutes.
Cut each muffin half into 4 wedges.
