Cheese Stuffed Plaice Recipe

Ingredients

| Butter | 2 Ounce | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 8 Ounce, grated | |
| White breadcrumbs | 4 Ounce | |
| Parsley sprigs | ||
| 4 large or 8 small fillets plaice | ||
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped (To garnish) | |
| Tomatoes | 4 , sliced (To garnish) | |
| Lemon slices | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Wash and skin fillets of plaice.
Dry well.
Cream butter, beat in 6 oz. cheese, 2 oz. breadcrumbs, parsley and seasoning.
Spread thickly on fillets and roll from tail.
Place in well buttered, shallow, ovenproof dish with sliced tomatoes.
Mix remaining breadcrumbs and cheese and sprinkle over fish and tomatoes.
Bake in a moderate oven (375° F, Gas Mark 4) for 25-30 minutes.
Garnish with parsley and lemon.
