Cheese Strudel Filling Recipe
Ingredients
| Cottage cheese | 1 pound | |
| Sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 egg plus 1 egg white, lightly beaten | ||
| Heavy cream | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Seedless raisins | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Walnuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Finely grated rind and juice of 1 lemon | ||
Directions
Puree cottage cheese in an electric blender 1-2 minutes at high speed until smooth or press through a fine sieve.
Mix with remaining ingredients and use as strudel filling.
