Cheese Steak Heros Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 2 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| 8 frozen Philly-style sandwich steaks | ||
| 8 packaged cheese slices | ||
| 4 (7-inch) soft sub rolls, split | ||
| Salad greens | 3 Cup (16 tbs), washed | |
| 2 tablespoons bottled red wine vinaigrette | ||
Directions
1. Heat oven to 200°F. In a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add onions and cook, stirring, 3 minutes. Add 1/4 cup water and cook until onions are soft and golden, 2 minutes longer. Transfer to a bowl.
2. Add 2 steaks to the same pan, cook 1 minute, flip, then cover each with 1 slice of cheese. Stack slices, transfer to a roll, and cover with one-fourth of the onions. Place on a baking sheet and transfer to the oven to keep warm. Repeat with remaining steaks, cheese slices, and rolls.
3. In a medium bowl, toss greens with vinaigrette. Divide greens evenly among sandwiches and serve immediately.
