Cheese Spaghetti Casserole Recipe

Add the tomato sauce, water, spaghetti sauce mix and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Simmer, uncovered, stirring frequently, for 30 minutes.
Break the spaghetti into thirds and cook according to package directions, rinsing and draining well.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, then stir in flour and remaining salt.
Add the milk slowly and cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until thickened.
Add 1 cup American cheese and Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Arrange alternate layers of spaghetti, beef sauce and cheese sauce in two 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch casseroles.
Sprinkle top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly.
Serve at once.
