1 1/2 teaspoons butter or margarine
 
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese or pasteurized process American cheese
 
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
 
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
 
Dash ground red pepper
 
1/3 cup milk
 
Bread slices, toasted

Directions

1. Melt butter in a 1-quart glass casserole in microwave oven (about
15 seconds at High). Add cheese and heat uncovered 1 minute at High,
or until cheese begins to melt; stir once.
2. Add Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard and red pepper to cheese. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Heat uncovered in microwave oven to serving temperature (2 to 3 minutes at Medium-High); stir every 30 seconds.
