 Potatoes4 Large
 Butter1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Monosodium glutamate
 Onion salt
 Paprika
 Parmesan cheese1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated

Directions

1. Scrub the potatoes without peeling. Cut into strips slightly larger than for French frying. Soak in ice water thirty minutes, drain and dry.
2. Preheat oven to hot (450° F.).
3. Arrange a single layer of potatoes in a shallow, greased baking pan. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with monosodium glutamate, onion salt and paprika.
4. Bake twenty to thirty minutes, turning occasionally, until the potatoes are crisp and browned on the outside but still tender on the inside. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, shaking the pan so that the potatoes are evenly coated.
