Cheese Kofta Curry Recipe
Ingredients
| Cheese | 115 Gram (For 4) | |
| Bengal gram flour 60 gm. | ||
| Turmeric | 1/8 Teaspoon (For 4) | |
| Chilli powder | 1/4 Teaspoon (For 4) | |
| Ginger a small piece | ||
| Coriander powder | 10 Gram (For 4) | |
| Green chillies | 10 Gram (For 4) | |
| Onions | 115 Gram (For 4) | |
| Tomatoes | 225 Gram (For 4) | |
| Cumin a pinch | ||
| Curds | 1 Tablespoon (For 4) | |
| Soda bicarbonate a pinch | ||
| Salt | To Taste (For 4) | |
| Oil | 30 Gram (For 4) | |
| Coriander leaves a few sprigs | ||
Directions
1. Grind together to a fine paste the turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder.
2. Heat oil. Add cumin, chopped onions, green chillies and ginger. Saute.
3. Add ground spices and fry.
4. Add chopped tomatoes and salt to taste. Simmer, adding a little water if necessary.
5. Cut cheese into cubes.
6. Prepare a thick batter with gram flour, soda, salt and water.
7. Dip cheese in the batter and deep-fry.
8. Drain and put into prepared curry. Cook for a few minutes.
9. Add beaten curds. Do not boil after adding curds but mix well.
10. Serve hot, garnished with a pinch of finely chopped coriander leaves.
