Cheese Fondue Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients
| 8 slices bread, crusts removed | ||
| Margarine | ||
| Sharp cheddar cheese | 1/4 pound, sliced | |
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Milk | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup dry sherry or additional milk | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Dash paprika | ||
Directions
Spread bread slices on both sides with margarine.
Arrange 4 slices in 8 inch square glass baking dish.
Arrange cheese on top.
Cover with remaining bread.
Combine eggs, milk, sherry, salt, pepper and paprika.
Pour over sandwiches.
Let stand 30 minutes.
Bake at 325° until puffy, about 30 minutes.
Garnish as desired.
