 Swiss Cheese1/2 pound, shredded
 Flour2 Tablespoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Garlic powder1/4 Teaspoon
 Nutmeg1/4 Teaspoon
 Pepper white1/4 Teaspoon
 Milk1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Kirsch2 Tablespoon
 French bread, cut in 1 inch cubes

Directions

1. In a 2-quart glass casserole, mix together the cheese, flour, salt, garlic powder, nutmeg, and white pepper. Add milk and, if desired, kirsch; stir to mix.
2. Cook, covered, 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once or twice. Rest, covered, 5 minutes.
3. Spear cubes of bread and dip in fondue. If fondue cools, reheat 1 to 2 minutes.
