Swiss Cheese Fondue Recipe

Ingredients

 3 cups shredded natural Swiss cheese
 Gruyere cheese1 Cup (16 tbs), finley diced
 Flour1 1/2 Tablespoon
 Nutmeg1/4 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), finely chopped
 Dry white wine2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Dry sherry3 Tablespoon

Directions

Lightly toss cheese, flour, nutmeg, pepper and garlic together in 2-quart bowl.
Set aside.
Pour wine into 2-quart casserole or fondue dish.
MICRO WAVE 5 to 6 MINUTES on '6', or until wine is hot.
Stir in cheese mixture.
MICROWAVE 2 to 4 MINUTES on '6 or until cheese melts.
Stir well.
Stir in sherry, serve immediately.
Can be kept hot or reheated as needed.
For ovens without solid state heat control, to heat wine, MICROWAVE 6 to 7 MINUTES on '5'.
Stir in cheese mixture.
