Cheese Fondue Recipe
No one can stop at just one is my claim for this recipe of Cheese Fondue. Made with Cheese, Cheese Fondue is a mouth-watering dish. This Cheese Fondue is never going to fail as a Side Dish. You will be tempted to prepare this Cheese Fondue recipe again.
Ingredients
2 tsp (10 ml) cornstarch
1 tbsp (15 ml) cold water
1 garlic clove
1 3/4 cups (430 ml) dry white wine
1 lb (450 g) grated Emmenthal cheese
1/4 tSp (1 ml) nutmeg
Salt and pepper
3 tbsp (45 ml) kirsch
Directions
– Stir cornstarch until smooth in cold water and set aside.
– Rub inside of fondue pot with garlic clove.
– Add wine and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, add Emmenthal cheese, and stir constantly until cheese has completely melted.
– Add cornstarch. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Pour kirsch into mixture and stir.
