Cheese Fondue Recipe
My longing for Cheese Fondue strengthened during high school days. Best enjoyed as a Side Dish this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. The most essential ingredient in Cheese Fondue is always Cheese. Believe me, just try this Cheese Fondue once, you'll love it.
Ingredients
1/3 c. chicken broth
Garlic to taste
2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
2 c. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
3 T. cornstarch
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. chicken broth
Directions
Combine 1/3 cup chicken broth and garlic in double boiler.
Add cheese and stir while melting.
Combine remaining ingredients to form a paste.
Add to cheese mixture, stirring until smooth consistency is reached.
Place in fondue pot and keep warm.
