 Tomato soup4 Cup (16 tbs) (For sauce:)
 Bay leaf1 (For sauce:)
 Butter or oil, 2 teaspoons
 Cheese1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated (For sauce:)
 Milk1 Cup (16 tbs) (For sauce:)
 Cloves3 (For sauce:)
 Worcestershire sauce1 Teaspoon (For sauce:)
 Chilli sauce1 Teaspoon (For sauce:)
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Rub in fat.
Add cheese and enough milk to make a thick batter.
In a large pan combine all the ingredients for sauce.
Place the pan on fire and when sauce comes to a boil, drop the batter by tablespoonfuls into the boiling sauce.
Lower heat.
Half cover the pan and cook dumplings for 15 minutes.
