Cheese Dumplings In Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Tomato soup | 4 Cup (16 tbs) (For sauce:) | |
| Bay leaf | 1 (For sauce:) | |
| Butter or oil, 2 teaspoons | ||
| Cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated (For sauce:) | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For sauce:) | |
| Cloves | 3 (For sauce:) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon (For sauce:) | |
| Chilli sauce | 1 Teaspoon (For sauce:) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Rub in fat.
Add cheese and enough milk to make a thick batter.
In a large pan combine all the ingredients for sauce.
Place the pan on fire and when sauce comes to a boil, drop the batter by tablespoonfuls into the boiling sauce.
Lower heat.
Half cover the pan and cook dumplings for 15 minutes.
Rub in fat.
Add cheese and enough milk to make a thick batter.
In a large pan combine all the ingredients for sauce.
