 1 cup Gold Medal Flour
 Butter margarine1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cream cheese4 Ounce
 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. thick preserves, such as cherry
 1 egg white, beaten until frothy
 Granulated sugar

Directions

Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Cut butter and cheese into flour until particles are size of giant peas.
Work dough with hands until it cleans bowl; press firmly into ball.
Chill about 1 hr.
Heat oven to 375° (quick mod.).
