Cheese Crusted Veal Patties Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound lean ground veal | ||
| 1/2 cup each iine dry bread crumbs and grated | ||
| Parmesan cheese | ||
| Eggs | 2 | |
| 1/2 teaspoon each salt and oregano leaves | ||
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Chopped green onion | 2 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salad oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
In a large bowl, combine veal, 1/4 cup each of the bread crumbs and cheese, 1 of the eggs, salt, oregano, pepper, garlic powder, wine, and onion.
Shape mixture into 4 patties, each 3/4 to 1 inch thick.
In a rimmed plate or pie pan, beat remaining egg just until blended.
In separate rimmed plates or pie pans, place remaining 1/4 cup each bread crumbs and cheese (stirred together) and flour.
Coat each patty with flour, shaking off excess; dip in egg to cover, then coat completely with crumb mixture.
Heat oil in a wide frying pan over medium heat; add patties and cook until browned on both sides and no longer pink in centers when slashed (10 to 15 minutes total).
