 1/4 lb. grated yellow cheese
 Flour2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 cup lard, or 1/4 cup lard with 1/4 cup butter
 Cayenne pepper1 Dash
 Water7 Tablespoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

Sift dry ingredients and cut in shortening until mealy.
Mix in the cheese lightly.
Add the water gradually, making a stiff dough.
Roll out on floured board, place in deep dish or pie pans.
Brush inside crust with vegetable oil, very lightly, and top crust
