Cheese Cream Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
8 slices bacon
1/2 pound (2 cups) shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 pound grated Parmesan cheese
2 large eggs (or 3 small)
2 cups (1 pint) light cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Dash of cayenne
Directions
Cook bacon until crisp and break into pieces.
Sprinkle on the bottom of a not-too-deep 1 1/2 -quart greased casserole.
Combine Swiss and Parmesan cheese, well beaten eggs, cream, salt, nutmeg, and cayenne; pour over bacon in casserole.
Bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 35 minutes, or until set.
