Cheddar Cheese Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese at room temperature
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
3/4 cup cornmeal
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Chopped dill or paprika
Directions
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Grease two baking sheets.
In bowl, combine cheese, butter, milk and mustard.
Beat well with electric mixer.
Add cornmeal, flour, and salt; mix well (will be a stiff dough).
Force through cookie press onto prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle with dill or paprika as desired.
Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
