Cheese Casserole Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 2 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Snipped parsley | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Active dry yeast | 1 | |
| Baking soda | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup cream-style cottage cheese | ||
| Water | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
Directions
In large mixer bowl combine 1 cup of the flour, Parmesan, parsley, yeast, and soda.
Heat together the cottage cheese, water, and butter just till warm (115-120°), stirring constantly to melt butter.
Add to dry mixture; add egg.
Beat at low speed with electric mixer for 1/2 minute, scraping sides of bowl constantly.
Beat 3 minutes at high speed.
By hand, stir in remaining flour.
Turn into greased bowl.
Cover; let rise till double .
Stir down.
Spread evenly in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Let rise till nearly double (about 40 minutes).
Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.
Cover top with foil if bread browns too quickly.
