Cheese Burger Buns Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Onion soup mix package | 1 | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Milk | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Hot pepper sauce | 1 Dash | |
| 1 cup Pillsbury's Best All Purpose or Self-Rising Flour | ||
| Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Shortening | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 6-ounce roll process cheese food, room temperature | ||
Directions
Combine ground beef, onion soup mix, egg, milk and hot pepper sauce.
Divide into 6 equal portions; form each into a patty.
Set aside.
Combine flour, paprika, shortening and cheese food in small mixer bowl.
Mix at lowest speed of mixer until dough begins to form, 15 to 30 seconds.
Shape into a ball.
Divide into 12 equal portions.
Press 6 portions into 5-inch circles on greased cookie sheet.
Top each with meat patty.
On well-floured surface roll out each of the remaining 6 portions to 5-inch circles.
Place over meat; press bottom edge to seal.
Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown
