Cheese Bread Recipe
|Active dry yeast||1⁄2 Ounce (2 Packages, 1/4 Ounce Each)|
|Lukewarm water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Flour||5 Cup (80 tbs), sifted|
|Finely grated sharp cheddar cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|

Stir together milk, sugar, and salt. Pour into yeast mixture.
Stir in one half of the flour, then add the cheese. Mix thoroughly and add remaining flour.
Knead dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes or until dough becomes elastic.
Grease the inside of a large bowl, place dough in bowl and cover with a damp towel. Let rise until double in size.
Punch down and let rise again.
Grease two 9" X 5" X 3" loaf pans.
Knead down and divide dough in half. Form each half into a loaf and place in prepared pans. Cover with damp towels and let rise again.
Preheat oven at 375° and bake for 40-45 minutes or until hollow sounding when tapped.
