Ingredients

 Tomatoes8 Large
 Cheddar Cheese6 Ounce, diced
 Seasoning
 Little butter toast or crisp bread

Directions

Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop out the centre pulp.
Mix this with the diced cheese and pack back tightly into the seasoned tomato cases, put a little butter on top and cover with the lid.
Bake for about 10 minutes in a moderately hot oven (400°F - Gas Mark 5) and serve at once, with toast or crisp bread.
