Cheese and Sausage Strata Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 lb bulk pork sausage | ||
| Mushroom | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 lb Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread, cubed | ||
| Sourdough bread | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 4 , beaten | |
Directions
Brown sausage; drain.
Add vegetables, continue cooking 5 minutes.
Drain.
Cool 10 minutes.
Mix together sausage mixture, process cheese spread and bread cubes.
Spoon into greased 8-inch square baking dish.
Beat milk and eggs; pour over sausage mixture.
Cover; refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Bake at 350°, uncovered, 50 to 55 minutes or until golden brown.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
