4 tomatoes

8 oz. grated cheese
1 level tablespoon flour

Directions
Slice marrow into rings.
Take out seeds but do not remove peel if very young.

Steam over boiling water until tender.
Meanwhile, fry sliced tomatoes in butter.
Blend flour with water, add to tomato mixture and cook until thick, but smooth.
Stir in 6 oz. cheese and seasoning.
Arrange marrow rings on dish, cover with cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and brown under grill or in oven.
