Cheddar-Whole Wheat Popovers Recipe

Ingredients
1 egg, beaten
1 egg white, lightly beaten
14 cup plus 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup skim milk
1 tablespoon margarine, melted
1/8 teaspoon salt
Vegetable cooking spray
2 tablespoons shredded extra-sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions
Combine first 7 ingredients in a medium bowl; bear with on electric mixer just until smooth.
Place a muffin pan coated with cooking spray in oven at 450° for 2 minutes or until a drop of water sizzles when dropped in pan.
Remove pan from oven; pour 1 tablespoon barter into each cup.
Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon cheese; fill cups three-fourths full with remaining barren Bake at 450° for 20 minutes; remove from oven, and prick each popover with tines of a fork.
Bake an additional 5 minutes.
Remove from muffin pans, and serve immediately.
