Cheddar Cheese Pumpkin Recipe
Cheddar Cheese Pumpkin - the cheese lovers' favorite. The dish is rich with the flavor of peanuts and cream cheese. Try this cheddar cheese pumpkin with crackers. Kids will love this for sure.
Ingredients
2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese (About 8 Ounces)
1/4 Cup Shredded Carrots
2 Tablespoons Minced Red Onion
1 Package (3 Ounces) Cream Cheese, Softened
1/8 Teaspoon Dried Dill Weed
Green Bell Pepper Strip, For Stem
1/2 Cup Chopped Salted Peanuts
Directions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine cheddar cheese and cream cheese, beat with an electric mixer until well blended.
Stir in peanuts, carrots, onion and dill.
Refrigerate, covered, 1 hour.
Shape into a pumpkin or ball.
Refrigerate, covered, 1 to 2 hours to let flavors blend.
Just before serving, insert a bell pepper strip into top of cheese ball to form a pumpkin stem.
Place pumpkin on a platter and surround it with a variety of crackers.
