Cheddar Cheese Spread Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound each aged sharp and mild Cheddar cheese | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Worcestershire | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 teaspoon each salt and dry mustard | ||
| 1/8 teaspoon liquid hot-pepper seasoning | ||
| Beer | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Cut cheese into 1/4-inch slices and put into the large bowl of your electric mixer.
Let stand at room temperature for 4 to 6 hours, or until very soft.
Beat until light-colored and smooth.
Add garlic, Worcestershire, salt, dry mustard, and liquid hot-pepper seasoning, and blend thoroughly.
Add beer 1/4 cup at a time, blending well after each addition, and continue beating until light and fluffy.
Store in covered jars in the refrigerator.
