Cheddar Cheese Sage Bites Recipe
Ingredients
| Cheddar | 2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Butter stick | 1 | |
| 2 tablespoons minced fresh sage leaves or 2 teaspoons dried, crumbled | ||
Directions
In a food processor combine the Cheddar, the flour, the salt, and the cayenne, and process the mixture until it is combined.
Add the butter and the sage and process the mixture until it just forms a ball.
Wrap the dough in plastic and chill it for 1 hour.
Form 1-inch balls of the dough, pressing them slightly to flatten to about 1/4-inch thick, 1 inch apart on parchment-lined baking sheets, and bake them in a preheated 375° F. oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool the biscuits on a wire rack.
