Cheddar Baked Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| Milk | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tbsp prepared English mustard | ||
| 60 g/2 oz/1 cup grated mature | ||
| Cheddar cheese | ||
| All purpose flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Chives | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Boneless chicken breasts | 4 | |
Directions
1. Mix together the milk and mustard in a bowl. In another bowl, combine the cheese, flour and chives.
2. Dip the chicken into the milk and mustard mixture, brushing to coat evenly.
3. Dip the chicken breasts into the cheese mixture, pressing to coat evenly. Place on a baking tray (cookie sheet) and spoon any spare cheese coating over the top.
4. Bake in a preheated oven, 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6, for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and the juices run clear, not pink, when pierced with a skewer. Serve the chicken hot, with jacket potatoes and fresh vegetables, or serve cold, with a crisp salad.
