Charcoal Broiled Rabbit Recipe
Ingredients
| Salad oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery seed | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Paprika | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 teaspoons fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme | ||
| 1/2 teaspoon each salt and garlic salt | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 young rabbit (2 to 2 1/2 lbs.), cut in serving-size pieces | ||
Directions
Mix together salad oil, celery seed, paprika, thyme, salt, garlic salt, and lemon juice.
Pour over rabbit pieces and allow to marinate at least 1 hour.
Slowly broil meat over charcoal about 30 minutes, or until tender.
Turn frequently and baste often with remaining marinade.
