Ingredients

 
225g wholewheat flour
 
1 tspn salt
 
About 200ml water
 
4 tspn ghee or unsalted butter, melted
 
2 onions
 
2 green chillies
 
1/2 tspn salt

Directions

Make the dough as for Chapati adding 2 tspn of the ghee or melted butter to the mixture.
Peel the onions, then chop the onions and chillies very finely.
Stir in the salt.
Place in a sieve and squeeze out any liquid.
Divide the dough into 12 pieces.
Roll out each piece on a floured surface into a thin round.
Put a little of the onion and chilli mixture in the centre, fold the dough over and form into a ball, then roll out carefully into a round.
Cook as for Chapati using the remaining ghee or butter to grease the pan.
