Champ Recipe

Ingredients
| 1 long loaf (about 16 inches) Italian bread | ||
| Softened butter or margarine | ||

| American cheese | ||
| Liverwurst slice | 6 | |
| 1 dill pickle, cut into 8 thin slices | ||
| 2 bottled hot red peppers, sliced | ||
| Lettuce, olive oil, vinegar, salt | ||
| Bologna slice | 6 | |
| Salami slice | 6 | |
| 1 tomato, cut into 6 slices | ||
| Sweet onion rings | ||
Directions
Cut bread into three lengthwise slices; spread cut surfaces with softened butter or margarine.
Cover bottom slice with cheese, liverwurst, pickle and hot red peppers; top with middle slice of bread.
Begin second filling with lettuce; drizzle with olive oil and vinegar and sprinkle with salt; top with bologna, salami, tomato and onion rings; replace crust.
Cut loaf crosswise into halves or thirds; wrap each in a paper napkin to eat out of hand.
