Chalupas Laredo Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 pounds ground round | ||
| Garlic salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| 1 large can ranch-style beans, drained | ||
| Round crisp tortillas | ||
| Wine vinegar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Olive oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cucumber | 1 , thinly sliced | |
| Iceberg lettuce head | 1 , shredded | |
| Tomatoes | 2 Medium, diced | |
| Green onions | 4 Small, chopped | |
| Avocado | 1 , sliced | |
| Jalapeno peppers | 1 To taste, chopped | |
Directions
Brown meat in large skillet for approximately 20 minutes.
Add garlic salt, pepper and beans, and simmer 10 minutes.
Spoon onto tortillas.
Mix vinegar, olive oil, cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and avocado together and spoon over meat mixture.
Top with cheese, jalapenos and olives.
