Directions

MAKING
1)In a saucepan, heat ghee and roast it for about 5 minutes on low heat.
2)Add milk and sugar and stir well.
3)Boil it, stirring frequently until milk thickens.
4)Add next three ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.

SERVING
5)Serve chawal ki kheer hot or cold garnished with cardamom powder and silver foils.

TIPS
Makhana pudding can also be made in the same way. You will need 25 g of makhanas.
