Ingredients

 Unbleached flour11/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Unsweetened cocoa1 /3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking powder1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Soda1/2 Teaspoon
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Walnuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Egg1
 Melted butter2 Tablespoon
 Buttermilk11/8 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 Tsp. Vanilla Sliced Almonds

Directions

Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and sugar.
Add chopped walnuts.
In another bowl whisk egg with melted butter, buttermilk and vanilla.
Quickly stir into dry ingredients.
Spoon batter into greased muffin tins.
Top with sliced almonds.
Bake until done.
Bake at 400 degrees 15-20 minutes
