Central America Cocoa Muffins Recipe

| Unsweetened cocoa | 1 /3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Walnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Melted butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Buttermilk | 11/8 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 Tsp. Vanilla Sliced Almonds | ||
Directions
Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and sugar.
Add chopped walnuts.
In another bowl whisk egg with melted butter, buttermilk and vanilla.
Quickly stir into dry ingredients.
Spoon batter into greased muffin tins.
Top with sliced almonds.
Bake until done.
Bake at 400 degrees 15-20 minutes
