Celery Coronado Recipe
Cooking up something special is always fun and here's a simple recipe for Celery Coronado to double that fun. This dish is really gonna taste good and will definitely make up a great meal!
Ingredients
Hearts of Celery – 3 medium sized
Butter or Margarine – ¼ cup
Chicken Bouillon - 1 cup
California, Dry Sauterne – ½ cup
Pimientos – 1 small jar
Sliced Almonds
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Under running water, wash the celery stalks thoroughly
2) Using a sharp knife, split them lengthwise from top till the bottom
MAKING
3) In a frying pan, melt some butter and sauté the celery till golden green
4) Turn the halves over carefully and then pour over the wine and bouillon
5) Cover the pan with a lid and cook on a low flame till the celery becomes tender
6) Take off the celery in a hot platter and keep warm
7) Reduce the sauce till a glaze starts to appear and pour over the celery
8) Garnish with the sliced almonds and ribbons of pimento

9) Serve the dish warm as an accompaniment to a meat dish
