Ingredients
| Sliced celery, boiled tender 2 cups | ||
| Hard-boiled eggs, sliced or chopped 2 | ||
| Instant onion flakes 1 tbsp. | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| All-purpose flour 2 tbsp. | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Put drained celery into 8 inch (20 cm) casserole.
Arrange egg slices over top.
Sprinkle with onion flakes.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Mix in flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk stirring until it boils and thickens.
Pour over celery mixture.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in crumbs.
Sprinkle over sauce in casserole.
Bake uncovered in 350°F (180°C) until browned and hot, about 20 to 30 minutes.
