Cayenne Spiked Cheese Balls In Toasted Hazelnuts Recipe
Ingredients
| 225 g/8 oz/1 cup medium fat soft cheese | ||
| 90 ml/6 tbsp crushed pineapple, well drained | ||
| 175 g/6 oz/1 1/2 cups strong Cheddar cheese, finely grated | ||
| 1.5 ml/1/4 tsp cayenne | ||
| 100 g/4 oz/1 cup toasted chopped hazelnuts | ||
| Cocktail pretzel sticks | ||
Directions
Mash the soft cheese with the drained pineapple, the Cheddar cheese and cayenne until well blended.
Shape into 30 small balls and roll in the toasted hazelnuts.
Chill.
When ready to serve, spear each with half a pretzel stick, if liked.
