Cavendish Apple Caramel Recipe
Ingredients
6 apples, cored, pared, and cut in half
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions
Arrange the apple halves in a buttered shallow baking dish.
Cream butter and brown sugar.
Mix in flour, salt, and nuts.
Spread mixture over apples.
Bake at 375°F 30 minutes.
Serve hot withp/am or whipped cream.
