Cauliflower Sauce Recipe
My passion for Cauliflower Sauce grew during high school days. The Cauliflower Sauce is made with Vegetable which is easy to procure from any grocery store. I just love Side Dish recipes and this dish is my only favorite amongst them. If you don't want to be a big sinner, don't simply read this Cauliflower Sauce recipe, try it as well.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon butter
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
1 cup half and half
2/3 cup milk
1 cup diced raw cauliflower
1/4 teaspoon salt
White pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
1/3 cup dry white wine
Directions
Melt 1 teaspoon butter in a medium saucepan.
Saute walnuts 3 minutes; set aside.
Melt additional 2 tablespoons butter in pan.
Blend flour into butter.
Simmer until bubbly.
Slowly stir in half and half and milk.
Cook until smooth and slightly thickened, stirring constantly.
Add cauliflower.
Cook 1 minute.
Add salt, pepper and cheese.
Stir gently to melt cheese.
Add wine and sauteed nuts.
Heat to serving temperature but do not boil.
Makes 2 cups.
