1 cup (250 ml) cauliflower, cut into flowerets
 
Salt and pepper
 
Pinch of saffron Or 1 tsp (5 ml) curry powder
 
4 tsp (20 ml) butter
 
4 tsp (20 ml) chives

Directions

–  In a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water, cook cauliflower for 4 minutes with salt, pepper, saffron or curry powder. Remove from heat, and let mixture steep for 15 minutes, then drain.
–  In a skillet, melt butter and lightly saute cauliflower. Add chives, stir and serve.
