Cauliflower Casserole Supreme Recipe
Ingredients
| Cauliflower Head - 1 no, broken into florets | ||
| Unsalted butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mushrooms | 1/4 pound, thinly sliced | |
| Flour | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Hot Milk - 2 cups | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Pimiento | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 350F.
2) Lightly grease a small, shallow casserole.
MAKING
3) In a steamer, steam the cauliflower till it becomes tender. Drain the florets and set aside.
4) In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter. Saute the mushrooms till they soften.
5) Add in flour and saute for 1 more minute.
6) Slowly add in milk. Stir until the mixture thickens.
7) Add in the salt, cheese and pimiento.
8) Transfer the cauliflower into a small, shallow casserole.
9) Pour the sauce on top.
10) Bake for 15 minutes.
SERVING
11) Serve the Cauliflower Casserole Supreme hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
