Cauliflower Recipe

This Cauliflower recipe is easily right at the top of my most loved recipe list. A good way to use up Vegetable is to make some amazing Cauliflower. Best enjoyed as a Side Dish this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. An assortment of fabulous flavors, the Cauliflower recipe is one of those European dishes you simply shouldn't miss. Note this Cauliflower, otherwise you might regret your decision later.

Ingredients

 
2 small cauliflowers
 
Boiling water
 
1 tablespoon crushed, crisped rinds of bacon
 
Salt
 
1/2 cup milk

Directions

Soak the cauliflowers for 1 hour in heavily salted cold water.
Drain.
Plunge them into a pan of boiling water, to which you have added a teaspoon of salt and the milk.
The milk keeps the flowers white.
Cook them until tender but still firm. (It is important that the flowers should not become mushy.)
Drain on a tea cloth.
Dust over with the bacon.
Put under the broiler for a moment.
The bacon rinds give a nice crunch to the dish.
