 Eggs2
 Granulated Sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Molasses1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sour milk1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking soda1 Teaspoon
 All purpose flour2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 3/4 cups cattail pollen
 1 tsp. powdered cloves
 Powdered ginger1/4 Teaspoon
 Margarine1 Tablespoon, melted
 Oil for deep frying

Directions

Beat eggs, add sugar and mix well.
Add molasses and sour milk to which soda has been added.
Sift flour, pollen and spices.
Fold flour into liquid along with margarine.
Handle dough as little as possible.
Roll small amount of dough 1/4 thick and cut into rounds with a doughnut cutter.
Deep fry at 360°F., turning frequently until golden brown.
